Why Am I Doing This Again?
I miss writing. I blogged for so many years, and enjoyed making myself and my readers chuckle, but when Facebook came along, it seemed that blogging became too...formal. FB was "instant". Hey! Look at what my cat is doing! It didn't take a lot of time, or editing, or thought. And like every new shiny thing, it's become unattractive. Much like cellphones. I wish we could have a landline again. Not a Voip or whatever - a Land Line. With a rotary phone that hangs on the wall with a 20 ft stretchy cord. Old school. I could pick it up and make a phone call without getting distracted by 20 different apps and new alerts and junk. Toxic junk. Of course, this train of thought could be because I turned 50 this year. I feel that I've crested the hill and am now stumbling downward, into Old Age and crankiness. To be fair, I've always been cranky. But now I feel I have a reason. I'm out of touch. My daughter had to help me order prescription glasses online. It...
